Baby's first Christmas Quilt
| I made lots of quilts while
working at SoFro as sewing machine dept. manager. Most were used for displays
and a few for classes. The sizes varied but most were lap quilt size.
At home I usually made bed size quilts which my children quickly confiscated. Matthew my middle child and the most like me has the lion's share. He sleeps with at least 4 quilts at all times. |

| When I was a child I loved quilts and would beg for all the quilts my mother had made as a teen in Canada. So everytime one of the family got a "electric blanket" I absconded their quilt! Trouble was, I used them to death and now I have nothing to show for it but memories. I want to go back in time and save those quilts so I could enjoy them today. |
