Lacefairy Art Quilts

I have started quilting again (2006) after many years absence. I have learned about and fell in love with Art Quilts and here are some of mine.

This quilt was my first art quilt and I designed it after a fractal I made.
There is a lot of heavy threadwork in this one.

This is the quilt I made during and after a class I took with Marilyn Belford on portrait quilts.
It is of my Grandson Nathan and reminds me when he used to put his hands over his ears and said
 "Oh no" when he was one year old.

It was hard to decide what to do with the quilt and here are some of my ideas for it:
